New brooch series, new work for Spring
A new brooch series made from pieces of a tin can for Regart, centre d'artistes en art actuel I have been very busy this Spring. I have been slowly working on a new series using pastel colours and different forms. After working with wire for the past couple of years I wanted to do something a little different. Things I love on etsy, florals
A roundup of beautiful floral pieces available on etsy Spring has finally come, its 1 degree outside but a temperature above zero feels warm after the long hard winter we had. The snow is still melting here, but there are a few places we can see grass peeking through. It may be brown, from last year, but at least it gives hope. It will still be a few weeks before things start growing here in Quebec, but with longer days and [.....]
Touch of gold, new powder coat pieces with gold leaf detailing
New pieces with gold leaf detailing available to purchase online at etsy. I have been adding gold leaf to a lot of pieces recently. I love the touch of colour and the metallic finish that this adds. I really like being able to add a metal touch on top of the powder coat which covers the metal. Gold leaf has been something that is very interesting for me to learn how to work with.
