I am moving away from my last line and have finally listed the last circle necklaces and stacking earrings I have on hand at the moment on my etsy store. Process- to a new line
The process of a new line of large one of a kind pieces. With every new Circus line I make I usually start with its sister line, The Sideshow. It is a small series of one of a kind pieces that are more complex and often physically larger than the pieces in my Circus line. Inspiration- Kintsugi
Kintsugi, an inspirational Japanese technique. Kintsugi bowl from Yohei Tanabe Kintsugi, or Kintsukuroi, is the japanese art of repairing broken ceramics with gold laquer. It was developed as a repair method as an alternative to metal staples or to a coloured laquer which attempted to match the ceramics themselves.
