I have been listing a lot of pieces from our 2012 jewellery line in my online shop. All of these pieces are on sale for 50% off. This is the last of the inventory and none of these models will be reproduced again, this collection is being retired.

Everything is in bright colours, I have gone through two of the smaller styles that I have in the studio and have finally listed them ALL, this is it for these two styles! These two styles are great for young kids, they are bright and very easy to wear. I use surgical steel posts and butterfly backs on my earrings which do not cause infections or irritations for most of those young, delicate ears.

These earrings are made with recuperated electric wire like all of my Circus lines. The wire is collected from many sources and is all en route to the garbage. After stripping the wire of the plastic coating I anneal it by heating, clean it, then I draw it down to various sizes using a drawplate. I form many many spirals that I cut by hand to create jumprings, which are then soldered together. I add the post and finally powdercoat all of the pieces.

Powdercoating is a process which requires an electric charge to be run through the piece. Then I shoot it with a fine plastic powder from a gun which resembles a paint gun. The powder clings in a very uniform layer on the piece, then I place them in an oven to melt the plastic on the surface. This creates a very durable layer of colour on the surface and protects skin from green stains created by the copper.
